Short road trip update
I’m in Pittsburgh now staying with my friend Natty, and had a great time in St. Louis staying with Johnny Murdoc. Pittsburgh is gorgeous and not what I expected. I’m hypnotic from driving so much, but so far I’ve met and been included with some creative, thoughtful people. I might be a free-spirit traveler for a while if this continues.

I saw Inception
(No spoilers.) It’s an exemplary script and a great ensemble with no weak link. I’m sure bunches of critics will write labyrinth, maze and Jenga metaphors and the word layers, but it holds up. Tonight I met Seth (whiteytighties). He’s really cool. We went to see Octopus Project at the Granada Theater. I hadn’t been before (like most places in Dallas). Seth and I danced in place close to the stage, and I periodically broke out in spastic interpretive dance to electronic soundscapes.
In between the opening bands, a twitter feed was projected on one of three giant screens...
